(1) Install Winimage:

First, install winzip and winimage  on a PC.

(2) Create the SMC ezstart diskette:

Download and save this image file ezstart.imz

Invoke winimage:
 click Start....Run....c:\winimage\winimage.exe  )

Drop the file ezstart.imz into winimage's open window.

Insert a blank floppy disk in drive A, click Disk....Write...

Label the floppy as "ezstart"

Insert the floppy in the target LRP machine and boot up the LRP machine.

This floppy contains the following: (do one card at a time)
ezstart.exe which sets and detects:
SMC8432 EtherPower, SMC8416 EtherEZ, SMC8013 Elite 16 and can detect SMC 690 and WD 8013
